Contrary to other ANC headphones like unlike other ANC headphones, the MOMENTUM 4 Wireless sound is more balanced than overemphasizing bass or highs. That's a good thing, because it offers an accurate representation of the music and speech you listen to. They do tend to increase lower frequencies, but this is a common feature of headphones designed for commuters, where noise can compete with low-level music and speech.

As with other top contenders in the ANC category The MOMENTUM 4 Wireless' noise reduction is very robust. It's not quite as good as the best ANC headphones we've tested however it's close. You can also defer projects by two clicks until the next quarter which makes them a great option for work or school.

The MOMENTUM Wireless can be connected to a Bluetooth device and allows you to choose from SBC, AAC or aptX codecs. You can also utilize the headphone's 3.5mm jack to listen to sources that do not have Bluetooth support.

The MOMENTUM 4 Wireless has a microphone array that lets you make and receive calls. The microphone does a decent job, but it's not going to provide the best audio quality for phone conversations. The microphone is still superior to the ones on most entry-level headphones.
